What is the price of a Telemedicine visit?
Virtual visits run just like a visit inside one of our clinics. You will be charged the same copay for a primary care visit, urgent care visit, or a specialist visit depending on which type of service is needed. Check with your insurance provider to review your copay or inquire about Telemedicine coverage.
Is my visit secure?
All data is encrypted, patient sessions are anonymous (we don't know who you are) and no patient info is stored persistently. We use the AES cipher with 128-bit keys to encrypt audio/video, and HMAC-SHA1 to verify data integrity
Can I receive a prescription following my call?
During your Telemedicine visit, your provider can prescribe many medications for you and will send your prescription(s) to the pharmacy of your choice. However, your provider may not be able to prescribe controlled substances and pain medication.
NOTE: Please do not use Telemedicine solely for prescription refills. Refills can be handled using Ogden Clinic’s Patient Portal or by contacting your provider.
