Behavioral Health & Therapy
Join us in welcoming evolvedMDinto the Ogden Clinic network. EvolvedMD is a group of licensed mental health professionals who now work inside our Family Medicine clinics.
I’m in need of mental health counseling. How do I get started?
Our behavioral health model begins with your primary care provider. If you do not yet have a PCP, make an appointment to establish care. Your PCP will coordinate with our evolvedMD providers to set up a behavioral health assessment and ongoing visits. Common reasons that patients are referred to evolvedMD are:
- Anxiety disorders (panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, phobias)
- Confidence and self esteem support
- Conflict and social support for couples, families, and relationships
- Depression, bipolar disorder, and other mood disorders
- Grief, loss, and/or relationship counseling
- Eating and body disorders
- Personality disorders
- Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
- Psychotic disorders including schizophrenia
Does my insurance cover behavioral health sessions?
The cost of services is similar to a typical doctor visit with your insurance. For example, if you normally pay a $35 copay each time you see your PCP, you will pay the same copay each time you see a Behavioral Health Manager. Of course, we advise you to contact your insurance carrier and/or evolvedMD for payment details ahead of time.
Schedule an appointment with your PCP to receive a behavioral health assessment and enroll in our integrated care program with evolvedMD.
